This is an original pattern for a flower! I sewed this on an inch wide black headband in stockinette stitch.
You will need:
Worsted yarn
Size 8 needles
Tapestry needle (yarn needle)
**Button or bead**
Petal
(make 5 or 6 petals)

kfb1, k till last, kfb1

1 stitch left-cut yarn, thread through stitch, pull tight
when you have made five or six of these, lay them how you want them to end up. Carefully sew them together through the middle, making sure you get the needle through all of them. Sew securely.
**for a decorative edge, sew a cool button or bead to the middle of the flower. You could also put the flower on a bag or headband.**
